Innovation: The Driving Force for Entrepreneurial Performance among Small Informal Businesses

The purpose of the study was to assess impact innovation on business performance informal small traders in Zimbabwe. Open Theory Innovation informed whilst data for gathered using structured questionnaires where 175 medium enterprises (SME) offered validated responses. A causal, quantitative approach assumed and analyzed SPSS 22 software identify association, strength direction determinants SME performance. results revealed that is determined by product, process, marketing organisational factors. thus found out product innovation, process have strong positive association with (P < 0.05). However, an insignificant between SMEs concluded enhance their graduate from being entities large corporates, they should embrace innovation.
